Proud American
“This film is a potent reminder of what most Americans take for granted”
Just An American is a dramatic film, revealing a powerful view of American life, told through a tapestry of four compelling true stories about ordinary people, immigrants and native born, who must overcome great obstacles in order to capture their own American Dream.  Set against a backdrop of spectacularly beautiful cinematography from Boston to Hawaii, the stories are tied together into a unique film which audiences most often describe as “highly emotional, powerful, very inspiring.
A must see movie.”

Just An American Sequel
“Just an American” is a drama which chronicles the American experience through four compelling true stories of ordinary people, immigrants and native born. Each story unique yet typical of so many who seek to make their own American Dream:
Dawn Trang Vietnam: 16, high school, learning English, bullied at school, graduates, gets a job,
marries, then risks it all with a new business.

Carlos Moleda, Brazil:  dreams of America, comes as an 18 year old, washes dishes for restaurateur
with questionable (mob) past. Carlos joins the Navy to become one of the 11 out of 120 who survives
rigorous training to become a Navy Seal. Critically wounded in combat, confined to a wheelchair,
Carlos has to decide to just give it up, or fight for a new life.

Curtis Jackson, Chicago: from tough humble background since age 10 his dream is to be a doctor.
The odds are against him as he fights to learn and earn a degree,
compete for a med school slot, and finds it even harder than he imagined.
Is the dream worth it? Curtis must face his fears, and his weakness.

Markovitz Family Pennsylvania:  On a street full of Christmas lit homes, the one with a Menorah  is attacked
by skin heads.  The neighborhood must respond, but will they?
